Book Review: Mended . . . Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters

I have the great joy and honor to review the book, Mended: Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters, by Blythe Daniel and Helen McIntosh.

The title alone caught my attention and I became excited to see what this book has to offer. While my mother is no longer with me physically, I was open to hearing what was available for me in my relationships with my two young daughters.

Blythe and Helen approach this tender topic not from a place of having had a perfect mother daughter relationship, rather, they approach from a place of having been on the battle field . . . and still fighting. In sharing their wisdom, we are given tangible ideas, conversation starters, prayers and appropriate re-direction to the Word where the foundation of all relationships begin.

Blythe and Helen give a stunning, honest and vulnerable glimpse of a journey that is available for a mother and a daughter and their relationship. In the partnership with a loving, kind and grace filled God, their is hope for them more in our relationships. If you would like one FREE, I have the great pleasure to give away one copy of Mended: Restoring the Hearts of Mothers and Daughters.
